These types of communities are always made up of a relatively small number of people who post a lot and keep the conversation and news flowing, while a far larger portion of the population simply comes around to scan the place and read, and most of those people will rarely, if ever, post anything. Gotta tell ya, though, Brown Eyes, the new catty schoolgirl routine ("Well! I mean, some people just think they're so popular, and of course I would never name names, but I was talking to you know who, and they said whisper whisper whisper") is just as unflattering as the Bible-thumping neo-con persona, though far less interesting.
