I don't either. I heard him live on the BuckVie tour and he came across sounding fine to me. The only pet peeve I had was that he sang too strong on the chorus of "Little Lies". Christine on the other hand had her moments of pitchiness, but I was still impressed with her as well. "Everywhere" and "Too Far Gone" were highlights of hers for me. I love those two together. Has she left FM yet?
