Did Lindsey leak his own demos? That's pretty interesting.
The "Screws" tracks that had already been mixed & sequenced were basically stolen from Warner people by people in the Artists & Repertoire (A&R) department of a competing record label, & they were leaked to the Internet only because the "Screws" project itself was aborted entirely. It was total subterfuge -- neither the Buckingham gang nor the copyright-holding Warner label knew or approved.
The Stevie Nicks fans have been wondering for years just how so many of her private recordings leak. Some people think her brother circulates them, others think that it's Paul Fishkin. The list of possible culprits is endless.
