So, aside from some messages on FB from sources that may or may not be close to the band, the rumour all boils down to Burnette's tweet? Is he telling the truth, or is he (and Mick!) pulling our legs? I doubt BB is referring to the events of 1987, since he explicitly said he was "pissed" he will not be included in the lineup, and if this was about the first Lindsey contretemps we know otherwise. Then again, who knows what really goes on with these people?
Somehow I find it appropriate that in its final days this band is dissolving into chaos and acrimony. How hard would it be for any one of their managers to issue a denial to put a stop to all this chatter? Unless of course it is actually true and they want to market the dismissal of Lindsey with the best spin possible.
