Hi Don, I would think that the DVD would play OK on your computer - give it a try on that. But watching a DVD on a small computer screen is not ideal. I've seen a few DVD players listed on Amazon that are shown as "all region" and "NTSC / PAL" compatible, such as this Philips model:

I've got a couple of other PAL format DVDs, so I'm definitely considering buying a DVD player like this one.
