Rocker Tom Petty has been pulled off life support after being rushed to the hospital Sunday in cardiac arrest, TMZ reports.

The “Free Fallin’” singer, 66, was reportedly found unconscious and not breathing in his Malibu home, and was subsequently taken to the UCLA Santa Monica Hospital, where he "had no brain activity."

His condition is currently unclear, but the outlet reports that Petty has been critical since Sunday night.

The long-haired singer known for his gravelly voice recently wrapped a lengthy North American tour.

The Florida native is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer best known for a string of hits with his band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

Their most popular tracks include "I Won't Back Down," "Runnin' Down a Dream" and "American Girl."

Petty also helped form supergroup the Traveling Wilburys in the late '80s, which was comprised of Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne and Roy Orbison. The legendary line-up recorded two albums together.

He's notched three Grammy wins over the years, and 18 nominations.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
