I don't think anyone else cares about this, but it drives me freaking crazy when Stevie has nonsensical similes, metaphors, and clumsy grammar like "When you lose your sight, love is like a river." What the heck?? And "I think that is the meaning of love, and I'm prepared to kick it." So you're kicking the meaning of love? I call this an unpopular opinion because it's nitpicking - I get that - and most people don't nitpick like this and even condemn it. However, I can't help it!

Just a few off of the top of my head.
Oh. My. God. Talk to Me is also what turned me into a Stevie fan, which in turn reignited my love for FM. My brothers were almost 10 years older than me, so I grew up loving Rumours. They also had Tusk and Bella Donna, but their copy of Tusk was only played once and I didn't care for BD at all. So it wasn't until Talk to Me that I became a Stevie fan, which caused me to call in love all over again with FM. What a wacky coincidence Talk to Me helped cement our love for FM!

I thought your last paragraph was hilarious, btw. It might be nitpicking, but you made me laugh AND think! But her nonsensical smilies and metaphors don't bother me as much as lyrics like "the children of the world, the forgotten chimpanzee..."
