Hi everyone I'll try and make this as brief as possible.
Friday Night's concert at the ME Bank Stadium, was a fanastic, an energetic night. We had brilliant seats, 5th row right in front of Lindsey. No mosh pit, so thank goodness, the security guards let was stand in the isles, towards the end. The best performances and where the crowd went crazy: "Tusk" "Gold Dust Woman" "Big Love" "Stand Back" (Great watching Lindsey sing along to that one ). They were the main stand-outs.
Just one thing, that our little group noticed, was, at the end of the first encore, Mick escorted Stevie off the stage, and at the beginning of the second encore, Lindsey was helping her back on stage again to sing "Silver Springs", this has been one of my (teary-eyed) favourite songs for years, (had to add that in ). What I trying to get at, is Stevie had none of that gutsy 'ooph' she gives to the words ..."I'll follow you down to the sound of my voice will haunt you, ...you'll never get away from sound of a woman that loves you" it just wasn't there. Maybe, because it was the last song for night, or even maybe, Stevie was whincing in pain over her back problems. I really don't know. A bit of concern, if Stevie was in pain, aye.
Anyway for me personally, Mick actually summed up the whole FM concert up, by introducing Lindsey " and the maestro - Mr Lindsey Buckingham". and he was and still is for FM.
