Stevie says she did not leave the band but refused to record an album with the band. She wants it both ways. She only wants to sing oldies on stage and not create new music with the band. She has one foot in and one foot out..

Christine was willing to record for Say You Will, but not tour. They decided they didn't want her songs on the record if she wouldn't be there to sing them on tour...so Stevie's not the first member to be "half in, half out."
