I went and saw Bob Dylan in concert in Oslo, Norway in October this year. It was fantastic and I got to hear one of my favourites, "Blind Willie McTell". I think that Bob and Peter are quite similar in many ways .. The thing is that people come to THEM and accept that the musicians do what they want themselves. Not the usual "greatest hits" show that you get from for example Clapton, Stones etc... And of course, I also think Bob and Peter are some of the few "whites" who play the blues in a convincing way!
