If Fleetwood Mac would re-enlist former members, the "backing musicians" wouldn't be necessary.
Lindsey could HAVE his guitar army...just with Peter Green, Rick Vito & Bob Welch instead of Neale Haywood & Carlos Rios. PLUS, we'd have Peter, Bob & Rick to sing songs, too. It just wouldn't be "the Buckingham Nicks show featuring Fleetwood Mac". I know that just would crush some people, but get over it.
Granted, Sharon & Lori have a type of estrogen linked telepathy going with Stevie, like some sort of school of fish, so they'd have to be there, though.
