yes. lots of great observations in that article. although i still wish the writer went beyond well-knowns, hits, easy, and obvious and actually listened to these songs. it feels like he just jumped through touching down here and there when he saw something familiar or possibly interesting (Not Too Late? hmm let's see what that is).
loving this quote though, it seems to be the essence of solo LB - and what he tried to do with FM too, but the band and all the hangers on making their livelihood off them would not let him:
