I am sure that the family and friends of British servicemen/women serving in the Gulf, Afghanistan and other regions around the world would be equally dismayed if they were unfortunate enough to come across the remark.

No matter. I shall not let this spoil my enjoyment of coming onto a terrific message board and reading some great postings. Regards to you all.
