yeah, think about it - Bob Dylan thing, smirking, not understanding on his own to hold her hand when going on their backstage elevator, flirting with adoring fans at the stage, the need to release new music (that BuckVie album!), the list of ridiculous little things that she endlessly pins on him, in addition to all the little digs she's been making at him in every single story she tells - it all would seem non-consequential to a normal person, or at least to a person looking from the outside.

so as you said - these are all "entries to add to her private ledger of his sins" - you know so much about this band and BN in particular, and so do many fans here. so it makes perfect sense. something was the last straw to her, in addition to perfect timing after having just done a solo arena tour, to once and for all "win" their private little war.

yes, she could have just said no to fans at the stage in their negotiations. but that would not mean she won the war. it would have been just another little battle. she had all her ducks in place to win the war, and now there's nobody standing in her way of ruling fleetwood mac anymore.
