I listen to the radio every time I drive in my car so that I can rediscover forgotten oldies and discover new tunes to add to my music collection. If I hear a song that appeals to me and if the next song doesn't, I move the dial. And this is what I have been doing for years. I can play my own selections when I am at home. But without being in the car, I would never hear brand new music. I laugh at local radio stations begging for our money to help keep them afloat. If they vanish from the dial there is always another station. If every station vanishes, there is always my ear buds.
