As for Rock a Little, everybody's Stevie poison is different. I like the title track, Imperial Hotel, Strangers, Nightmare, and Written. Unlike the Rupert Hine fiasco, at least her voice is mixed up front on Rock a Little so that she doesn't sound more like a backing vocalist than a lead vocalist. What would possess any producer anywhere to mix Stevie on a Stevie album as a backup vocalist?! What kind of stupid is this? I think she was sharing her tranquilizers with the producer during those sessions.

Out of all the solo records OSOTM is the one that deserves a remix. Dial The Number should be on it. On some songs she does seem to be singing through the fog.
What in the world were they thinking doing Blue Eyes to a reggae beat? One of Stevie's strong suits is country singing. Her and a guitar would have been much better.
