Well...they're basically each album per disc...but there are bonus tracks, alternate takes & studio banter (think Beatles' Let It Be) that the original albums didn't have...so if you bought them individually, you wouldn't get the extras, which in addition to the great price of 6 CDs for the price of 3, they're 6 LONG PLAYING CDs.

The two that are the MOST different are:

Pious Bird of Good Omen: deletes the tunes taken from previous albums and the two Eddie Boyd songs and adds an interesting collection of alternate takes of "Need Your Love So Bad" and an early take of Danny Kirwan's "Like Crying" which eventually would show up on Then Play On

The Original Fleetwood Mac: adds alternate takes of "Fool No More" & "Watch Out, plus Danny Kirwan's "Something Inside Of Me, "Without You" and "One Sunny Day"...all three of which were on the US release of English Rose and the pre-"Oh Well" versions of Then Play On...plus, an early take of "Coming Your Way" a song that eventually would open the Then Play On album.
