Some impartial party needs to get in on those rehearsal sessions and kick some ass and sense into their heads when they decide to do these things.
I was their and saw it live. The "defect" you bring up was very apparent - though I enjoyed hearing the song for the novelty of it.

I think they could keep the key perhaps if they returned it to its original speed. But higher and faster is ALWAYS better in this kind of thing
