Rick Turner is also an avid collector of mandolins & belongs to some sort of Southern CA mandolin society, which collects old mandolins & performs with them. He gave a mandolin concert about three years ago at the Music of Making Mucous in Carlsbad. He & his pals played many fine tunes on mandolins. My head was spinning after an evening of mandolin performance.
