Never understood the appeal of - Can't Go Back / Only Over You
Album could have been better if - Lindsey brought better material to the table or had songs removed and replaced by Stevie's Smile At You and/or If You Were My Love.
Much better performed live - Eyes Of The World.
Overall least favourite - Can't Go Back.
Mirage is an interesting album for me. Stevie really delivers her A Game, and apart from one slip-up, Christine is on fire too. Lindsey shows some flashes of promise, I really love Empire State, Book of Love and Eyes Of The World, but his other songs are pretty lacklustre, and could have been swapped for stronger Stevie or Christine songs (Just my opinion!) The sequencing of the album irritates the hell outta me, as well.
