My best friend thought it was "one winged dove" and I pointed out to her how silly that was, and then in college when we heard the song, she would do this stupid dance like she was flapping one wing.
Anyway, as far as SYLM goes, the real lyric is "Have mercy, baby, on a poor girl like me" but I'm glad some of you like my lyric better!
