I think these tapes were released so long ago that they didn't have copyright protection which would have prevented me from transferring them. If you get the videotape, you should have no problem transferring it to DVD.

Thanks for letting me know. You never know which tapes will work. I have movies/concerts from the 80s and about half can be transferred, the other half made my DVD recorder put up the message 'Copyright protection, cannot record'.
