I think he likes the travel, visiting different places and playing bass but treasures peace and quiet (books, Arsenal football, etc).

I'm sure the money doesn't hurt and allows him and his family a comfortable lifestyle, boats, cars, etc. He doesn't come across as particularly greedy...seems more of a 'grateful for what I've got' type of guy.
