I finally got around to watching young David's covers of Christine's songs and ... wow ... I agree with Aleuzzi. I think they're wonderful. Of course these aren't professional, polished recordings. These videos are just one young man with a musical instrument, no recording studio, no sound engineer, no production. I think he sings and plays really well and his singing is heartfelt. His interpretations really make you think about what the songs are about, something I generally don't do when I've heard a song a thousand times.
Another thing I like about this is that this is what Youtube is *supposed* to be for. People broadcasting themselves. The ultimate amateur hour.
