I think Gypsy definitely ranks up there, but as far as songwriting in the most raw sense, I think Landslide is her most cleverly crafted. I don't think a whole lot of production went into recording Landslide, so you hear it in kind of (and I stress "kind of") the way Stevie wrote it. But Gypsy is very masterful in its post-production form. Personally though, I don't like when Gypsy is toned down to a mellow, acoustic song. The song just has too much energy packed inside of it. My favorite performance of Gypsy is on the US Festival 1983 concert...it's more upbeat and energetic. My ONLY complaint of the song here was the use of, and please bear with me as I try to explain this, "ooh" instead of "oh" at the end. When you sing an "ooh" sound, it's very hard to belt out, whereas an "oh" is very easy to just cut loose on (or even "ah"). Non-Mac for me would have to go to Planets of the Universe.
