I think it is more difficult for a man to be married to a high profile woman than the other way round. We find it more hard to accept a man being financially supported by a woman but a man supporting his wife and family is accepted as the norm.
We do have to be careful not to be hypocritical about this. Christine wasn't faithfull to John was she?
