This is just a guess. But, I think it's possible that a Christine/Fleetwood Mac version would cost more to put in the movie than an Eva Cassidy version. Maybe that's why the director went with Eva's version instead.
I think Eva's version is beautiful, but she can't top the original with Christine and her piano.
