Ok - Bob basically confirms what I've already said - the label these were recorded on (AZ Records, Paris - IIRC) is long gone, the rights etc are hard to trace, and there's little commercial interest in doing anything with them.
However: neither of us knew about the re-release of The Kinetic on Magic Records until I saw it here
. However the licensing is a bit easier to trace in this case (originally on Vogue Disques, again of Paris). A label such as Magic Records, who specialise in such things, has the capacity to surprise us
.
