My mom did that to our fish when I was little. She bought this little heater to go in the aquarium, and she turned it up too high...then, fell asleep on the couch watching
Dallas...the next morning, the aquarium was actually boiling over.
Oh, and my dad ran over our cocker spaniel. Maybe we're related :P
