I’m reading digests of her interview in the news and it’s interesting to see how reporters are automatically assuming that she, along with the producers, just finished recording new versions. But her own language has not confirmed this. We know her well enough to expect she’d say something about the process and the experience of being back in the studio—so why the silence unless she’s deliberately trying to sidestep what this project actually is.
I hope to god I’m wrong.
