Fleetwood Mac is a band that has a full catalog of underrated material especially pre-1975. I could start a list but it would be too long. I think Mystery To Me and Heroes Are Hard To Find are 2 of their best albums. I think they only reason they were not more successful is because American audiences in the pop/rock radio were not really into the blusey feel of their music. Lindsey tweaked the sound enough to give their sound a broader appeal. I also think Buckingham/Nicks is underrated.
But then again just because this music was not commercially successful does not mean it is underrated. Many of the Mac's early albums and certainly Buckingham/Nicks gets big praise today.
