Oxycodone is one hell of a drug. Prince died of it, too,
That's a pretty cold response. "One hell of a drug."
Prince didn't die of Oxycodone, btw. He died of a Fentanyl OD, which is a synthetic opioid up to 50 times more powerful than heroin.

I don't blame MC for TPs overdose. I blame him for being a bystander in a situation that got worse and worse. He could have staged an intervention, not because of the prescription drugs, but because of the broken hip, the fact that TP was unable to walk, in great pain and obviously irrational about it. I don't think that he (or anyone else) knew exactly what was going on with the painkillers. But still, he saw TP suffering every day and did nothing to put a stop on it.
Nobody could put a stop to it.
At the time of the tour, Tom thought he had a fractured hip.
Doctors said after the tour, the hip had become a broken hip.
Everybody from his family, friends, and co-workers knew he had a fracture, but were not aware the extent of how it was progressing.
If doctors, his family and co-workers couldn't convince Tom to stop the tour, either could Mike.
You will continue to say "Still not untrue," because your interpretation of articles you copied and pasted are the only ways to interpret those articles.
The lengths you are going to disprove of Mike's joining Fleetwood Mac is disturbing, and indeed a fixation.
And you don't care how callous or cruel your words are to others, or how nasty it sounds.
Because, as you stated, "Kindness is still overrated here," right?
Well, good for you.
