I'm not sure if Stevie solo does, can't tell from the videos I've seen (however the DVDs like Live in Chicago are definitely edited), but she has her extremely loud backup singers who sometimes give off that same annoying effect.

Jimmy Paxson has commented on more than one occasion how proud he is that the Stevie band does not use pre-recorded material. He has also said that when they play on TV shows the production crew is always surprised to find out that they do it completely live.
