There was a point early on in the clip that I thought EXACTLY the same thing.
That said, yes, this certainly has the potential to be a masterpiece on its own terms.
So, I think the conclusion is: She didn't rob US. She robbed herself. And that's sad. THAT'S what Lindsey and Christine are so glad they didn't do with themselves, their chemistry, their love, their legacy, their art.
