Asylum was the most cohesive IMHO. Really well done, good pacing, acting on point, well plotted.

Highlight of Coven was Stevie. I love love love Jessica Lange though. All of her roles are great, but I think she was best in the first two seasons where she wasn't the protagonist and really had a chance to shine.

Truthfully you're not missing much with Freak Show. It was too much about cameos and atmosphere without much actual story. I'm also not a fan of all the seasons connecting. I'd much rather leave some things to the imagination.
