The article actually gives me a twinge of nostalgia, as it very easily could have been written in 1982 or 1987. Each band member is playing the same role they've been playing for over 30 years. They're nothing if not consistent.
All that said, they sound exhausted. The extended tour may be profitable, but it also apparently comes at a high cost, on many fronts.
