I agree with that, to an extent. But to say that it's near impossible... I disagree. It probably depends on the type of light, direction it's coming, etc.
In December I was in the front row and I got clear eye contact, nods and smiles from Christine, Stevie and Lindsey.
For me, being in the front row, at the stage is fun. But I actually prefer about 3rd row. I'd trade anyone here front row for third in a heartbeat.
