You're right. I assume Stevie has never asked Lindsey and Chris to make a Fleetwood Mac record. But ever since she joined the group (excluding the brief time she wasn't), she has collaborated on every album when the opportunity presented itself. If you're part of a group, it's not an option, it's what you do.

Stevie is study of contradictions; she seems elated to have Christine back in the band, yet she has expressed a disdainful amount of ambivalence about playing her part in it. At this latter stage in the game, there is not a lot of time to waste. Stevie realizes this, acknowledging that things can be accomplished in shorter amounts of time. Lindsey, Christine, Mick and John have already put in their time and have done 80% of the work; Stevie in comparison, has it much more easier, since she doesn't play an instrument.

I certainly can hold it over her head and I sure feel fine.

I applaud U for inventing a new word: successfulness!
