There's a parallels for me with this song. I lost my mother unexpectedly 6 years ago. Turns out my mom and Stevie's mom were similar in the fact that they were both influential to us as children as far as instilling the importance of imagination and fantasy into our young lives. I will always be grateful for that. I think of her and smile when I hear this song.
