That's one of the reasons I think it is crap. It is one thing to take a song and "make it your own", but considering this was supposedly a "TRIBUTE TO GEORGE" performance, I'd expect something a little more true to Harrison's original.
Had he just been doing a "Lindsey" thing, it probably would be a little more passable to make those drastic changes.
