It's amazing how different the band sounds to me this year vs last. It's like Christine's presence has taken them from auto pilot to fighter pilot.
Stevie seems to be singing way, way better. Lindsey's playing seems more fierce. It might just be me, but I hear way more of Fleetwood Mac itself & far less of the backing musicians. This hasn't been the case since 1982.
Of the "new" material, Seven Wonders & Little Lies were highlights for me. Seven Wonders transferred far better to Stevie's modern voice than I could have imagined. Finally hearing the full Rumours band perform Little Lies live actually brought tears to my eyes, and this was just from watching a youtube video.
They even seemed to iron out the kinks in Sisters Of The Moon from last year's renditions.
Now if only we could get Tango In The Night, Hold Me, and Straight Back added, I'd be a truly happy man.
