I'm probably in the minority here, but I much prefer the TISL version of "My Heart" with the "shadows and the first sign of life..." part that was sorely missing in the IYD version.

I also prefer the first version of "Bombay Sapphires" that made it on to the TISL acetate before Stevie second guessed herself and re-recorded it with Macy Gray. Ew. The first version just sounds better and paints a better picture, I think. And I much prefer Stevie harmonizing with herself. Plus there's that added bridge, "mmm, but that's my dream, or so it seems" that pretty much puts the capper on what the song is actually about, whereas the other version doesn't.

I also like the "Timespace" mixes of both "Violet & Blue" and "Battle Of The Dragon" a hell of a lot more than the "Enchanted" boxed set versions. The volume on the harmonies and the piano being brought higher into the mix on "Violet & Blue" makes so much of a difference. It really gets you rockin' out!
