The video tells a fuller story than the screen caps. At the show, from my perspective, Lindsey was upset because Christine was isolated from the rest of the band that first night. He wanted it to be more of a group reunion and tried to get in on the hug, but was kind of segregated from them, before and after she performed and he looked as if he felt left out of the embrace. When she first came out and was hugging Stevie, he walked over and tried to get her attention, she didn't hear him initially. After
Don't Stop she and Stevie were over to the side of the stage and he tried to wave her over. Then, after their group bow, he blew kisses at her, but she couldn't see him, because she was turned to John.
The expression on his face in that particular photo is, I think, him wanting Stevie and Christine to come center stage. In the video, you can see him trying to get them to come. He motioned them over and then Mick told them to come over and they did. At that point, once they were all four gathered together, Lindsey was all smiles.
The next night it was much different, because Christine came right out and immediately kissed Stevie, John and Lindsey and Stevie stood back from Christine as well. So, Christine was never isolated on one side of the stage on Friday.
