I mean, you guitarists, he can feel the chords on the body of the instrument without looking I guess. But when he's trying to achieve different pitches he has to look. I suppose that's my muddled idea of how it works.
But I liked getting that detail from Lindsey basicaly saying, "I can't look all the way up at you, I have to concentrate." It gave me insight I didn't have into what he's doing.

Well, I play guitar and I think that sometimes it's a question of habit, but also you have to look what are you doing. That's how works for me, but he is Mr Lindsey Buckingham people, the guitar is an extension of his arms.
