The Sun interview was, I think, what prompted his being told to stop appealing publicly for her to rejoin; it was the boldest, clearest attempt in a while. Ok, so recording can take days, but that's assuming she has written songs for them to sing and that they like them and think the band can add something to them. I just think it's fantasy (albeit nice), given her most recent protestations in Mojo and comments in The Times (which didn't sound like she was returning in any capacity) and Mick's "no, no, no" in the latter when asked if she was coming back. He clearly said she is part of their past now.
