Stevie hospitalized for pneumonia
 

I read in an interview with the man who runs JazzFest, Quint Davis, that Stevie was hospitalized for pneumonia, and that is why they cancelled. That is much more serious than flu. I may not be happy with her now, but I do not want her sick! I find this news very distressing as pneumonia is what killed Glenn Frey. Prayers for her speedy recovery.

ETA: I see this has been posted within another thread in another forum, but I still feel it is appropriate here as an individual thread since it is not really about the festival.

Her mom died of it.

Danny Kirwan died just last year from it.

Glenn Frey passed away from pneumonia but he had many other health issues including an immuno-compromised health issue.

I do hope Stevie gets better soon. I also may not be happy with her, nor feel the same way about her anymore, but I don’t wish her health issues.

This is very distressing. While I have been disappointed in her recently, I don't wish any of them to be unwell. Speedy wishes to her. Yikes.

With Stevie's age pneumonia is a very serious thing. I recall she had it a couple of years ago and didn't stop touring. Glad she stopped this time. Get better Miss Stevie!

I'm also very unhappy with Stevie but I hope and pray that she and Lindsey get better and stronger soon!

I’ve seen some posts on social media noting that Stevie is now home and recovering. :)

Various comments on social media platforms (Instagram, etc.). Haven't seen any official announcement, but let's hope that's true!
