Love Boat episode references Fleetwood Mac!

By no means do I claim to watch the reruns of The Love Boat that are currently airing. It was cheesy then, and even more cheesy now. But today, when I turned on the TV, by chance I caught the end of an episode, which originally aired in 1982.

The captain was asked if he was into rock and roll music. His daughter, standing by his side, laughed and said "he thinks Fleetwood Mac is a hamburger place!"
He says " No, I thought Fleetwood Mac was a Cadillac."

Sure. We believe you, we really do.

Don't feel bad, I watched a few minutes
of Fantasy Island the other night.

Stevie is referenced in an episode of Who's the boss from 1986.

A few minutes of any show from that time-frame/genre is just about my limit.
The some of the sixties era shows hold up better. "I Dream of Jeanie" is my guilty pleasure of the moment.

It was at the end of the episode, as the passengers were debarking.

I love the Love Boat along with Fantasy Island.Great TV back then,Great talent ,Great writers.Today's crop of shows sucks.Which episode was the mention of FM.Most of the series is on YT and other video sites.

It would be great if they appeared on the show like other did.

Whos the Boss was great too.

FM was mentioned on Jeopardy a few times too but I cant recall if they were mentioned on the Wheel of Fortune. The probably have too.

"I Dream of Jeanie" I love the 50's and 60's TV shows My TV time started to drop off in the late 1990's when the reality crap was starting taking over the tube also including the poorly written boring sitcoms .

That sitcom that Stevie was on was boring and not that funny. Her part of the script was the funny part of the show but the rest was boring to me.

OMG
There is another part of this episode that must have been a running joke. Or else it is another episode. They are at dinner and the captain's daughter says her dad thinks Fleetwood Mac is a hamburger place.
