Thanks much for posting these! Stevie's camp is smart to have these posted, with song previews, on various sites.

She emphasizes that she has "many, many more songs." Which gives me hope for another album, soon!

USA Today by Brian Mansfield, October 1, 2014 [click for video]

http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/m...iere/16545251/

Stevie Nicks dips into her vault for All the Beautiful Worlds, premiering at USA TODAY.

The song is part of Nicks' 24 Karat Gold — Songs From the Vault, a collection of songs written mostly between 1969 and 1987 (two come from the mid-'90s).

Nicks recorded the album, her first since 2011's In Your Dreams in Nashville and Los Angeles, producing it with Dave Stewart and Waddy Wachtel. Most of the album's songs were written between 1969 and 1987, with two coming from the mid-'90s.

The album will come out Oct. 7 on Warner Bros., though a limited-edition double vinyl album was released Monday.

in a video about All the Beautiful Worlds, Nicks says it's one of the album's few songs for which she can't recall an inspiration.

"I can tell from the words that it was written about going to the dark side," she says. "The essence of that song is that there is a dark world, and there is a dark side."

On Tuesday in Minneapolis, Nicks began a tour with Fleetwood Mac that includes recently returned member Christine McVie.

What she had to say about All the Beautiful Worlds hit me emotionally. Looks like there's going to be more connections on this album than I expected.

How do you do it, Stevie? Every time.

Wouldn't that be frickin fantastic? If she did another album of demos? I guess it depends on her experience recording this. If she loved it and the sales/reviews are decent, maybe she will be inspired to do it again. And she's always said she gets restless in the studio and likes to work quickly so maybe getting an album done in two months might be further incentive for her. I sure hope so. :D

Stevie... "These are just the best 16 songs for 2014" ...

Sounds like she wants to do more of this...If she can combine the quick recording with new or unheard songs then I think we will have something that's the best of both worlds( "IYD" & "24K" ) on the same record...FM had better get this new record done before Stevie moves on without them...

Right?? She seems to have the fire lit under her feet - I really hope we get to hear the best of 2015 or 2016, too.

I would think this kind of set up would be so much better for her --- she can do these videos, in her own HOME no less, edit them til they're just what she wants to say, and then put them out in the universe of social media and not have to do fifteen million interviews face to face over and and over and over again with every journalist on the planet. And so many journos just repurpose quotes from interviews she did with other people and make it sound like she said it to them anyway. Maybe she'll figure out there is an upside to all this tech stuff for her to use to her advantage. She can spend a couple of days doing videos, go out with FM and save her time and voice not trying to squeeze in solo interviews between shows and traveling. And if she does do interviews on tour she can talk about the Mac, and get double coverage in the press for her solo stuff and Mac at the same time with half the effort. But then again, this is our girl……

I thank Dave for all this, I really do. He showed her you don't have to be afraid of technology, and you can make it work how you want for you. I see his fingerprints all over the photo exhibition also.

It seems like both her and Lindsey (and Christine?) are thinking about their legacies now. Lindsey starting putting out albums much faster than he has before. Stevie seems intent on getting her backlog of songs recorded, and fast sessions with batches of songs seems to have worked well. Christine may have rejoined Mac partially for the same reason.
