Blondie's Parallel Lines FREE in the Mail on Sunday
Today in th UK's Mail On Sunday, Blondie are giving away a FREE copy of Parallel Lines. That's not the best bit!
There are two NEW tracks from the forthcoming album Panic of Girls on the CD. Studio recordings of What I Heard and the Sophia George cover, Girlie Girlie. You can also download Mother from the Blondie website wherever you are in the world :blob1: Just enter your email adress and you're good to go. Please do this over listening on YouTube. The audio just doesn't compare and it's such a wonderful song http://www.blondie.net/download/ Daily Mail articles: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/mosl...ght-I-man.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...d-Blondie.html |
Coolies. Too bad I don't live in the UK!
Speaking of my beloved New Wave band - yesterday at the music store I was helping some woman navigate her way through the Blondie section. It was soo good. She picked up Parallel - and I butted in "That's good!"... then she asked about the new album. |
My Grandad's gone out to get me The Mail on Sunday, just cause he knows I love the band  Bless him.

Who doesn't love Blondie?! They are just soooo awesome! Can't wait until the new album!

'PL' by Blondie was/is/always will be brilliant. It's their 'Rumours'- Unfair, it is distinct unto itself.
Keep us informed about 'The Curse of Blondie' if you're willing to. It seems like I have been reading about it for a year but have yet to see the cd. UK release first, then America? |

"A year," seven years, well, there it is. Wasn't there a new Blondie cd coming out this year, though? Maybe I got the title wrong? Morph. |

Yeah Panic should *hopefully* be out within the next few months. :D

Yeah, Panic of Girls is the album that's waiting for a release, Rowan got TCOB's details right.
It was set for release in Aus last month, but Sony backed out at the last minute :distress: It's just a case of watching this space. You'll all know when it's out because my brains will be on the walls  |

It's a shame they won't do something like that here in Australia, I just saw Blondie live with The Pretenders on Wednesday night, it was completely awesome, they played this little venue in Sydney called the Enmore theatre, I was literally less than two metres away from Chrissie Hynde and Deborah Harry ~so awesome~ They both look great for their ages and still sound awesome :D
It's a shame Sony backed out of the deal, they would've been able to sell a bunch of albums at all the shows they're doing over here. |
