New FM documentary on BBC

Just a heads up for UK Ledgies, BBC One is airing a hour-long documentary called Don't Stop on Sunday 1 November. The following Friday (6 November) BBC Four is also having a Fleetwood Mac night, showing this documentary again, Rock Family Trees and the excellent Peter Green documentary, Man Of The World.

Thanks for that

I should be back from Wembley in plenty of time to see Manchester City thrash Birmingham and then later on see FM on the telly! Looks like it's going to be a good weekend

I'm definitely taping this, though I don't expect something new.

Supeer-dooper. Lovely!!

Be nice to see this new documentary, lets hope it has some new stuff not previously shown in the BBC's Rock Family Tree's episode and also their 1988 'FM at 21' programme. :]

What's on the box this week?

'Fleetwood Mac: Don't Stop' (BBC 1, Sunday) - Almost everything that ever happens to a rock band has happened to Fleetwood Mac. One of the greatest and most enduring acts in popular music, they began in the 1960s and can still sell out stadiums in 2009, surviving countless personnel changes and inter-band meltdowns.

Featuring new interviews with Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, this documentary delves deep into the heart of the band, tracing the relationships, turmoil and changes and unwinding the complex love story between Nicks and former partner Buckingham.

Now, Fleetwood, McVie, Buckingham and Nicks are back onstage together, singing the songs that were fuelled by their 1970s relationships and their fall-out. Together they are Fleetwood Mac, one of the biggest names in rock. But it still hurts.

Does anyone know whether they are going to be making any appearances on Shows like the One show or BBC breakfast or even Jools Holland or Jonathan Ross i seem to remember the Eagles appearing on the One Show last year?

Going to see them in Sheffield on Monday night, can't wait as i saw them last on the Behind The Mask tour nearly 20 years ago so really looking forward to seeing Mr Buckingham!

Welcome!

I think if they were going to do TV spots, they'd have done them by now  it's quite odd that they haven't, really, particularly Mick.

I think the One show goes out live at 7pm so the timing might not be right for them. Mick was on it a while back when he was plugging his other band (and also mentioned touring with FM again)
